University of Helsinki is recruiting an University Lecturer in Demography and Data Science
The Faculty of Social Sciences and the Centre for Social Data Science invite applications for the position of
UNIVERSITY LECTURER IN DEMOGRAPHY AND DATA SCIENCE
for a fixed term 5-year appointment beginning as soon as possible, but no later than August 2022.
The duties of the present university lecturer will include providing teaching in accordance with the degree requirements, supervising and examining theses and dissertations, conducting research that is relevant for understanding the causes and consequences of changing family dynamics, and coordinating the activities of the Family Formation in Flux –research team that is based at the University of Helsinki (https://fluxconsortium.fi/). In addition to the Flux project, the successful candidate will be affiliated with the Centre for Social Data Science (https://www.helsinki.fi/en/networks/centre-social-data-science) and with the Population Research Unit (https://www2.helsinki.fi/en/researchgroups/population-research).
